What are the big challenges that every health and care system faces, which we can address through using data and technology to proactively prevent diseases, change the view from patient to population, and engage individuals in their own health and care?

By analyzing available health data and socio-economic factors, the healthcare systems can map out risks at national and local level, thereby contributing to a healthier society and a more sustainable healthcare. How can data improve citizens health? NHS England’s Deputy Chief Executive, will highlight the opportunities that exist from using population health data and technologies, and how the NHS is working collaboratively across national organisations and vendors to join up data flows at a system level, supporting ongoing monitoring and identification of variation in practice.
