Why should we care about Yemen?
The war in Yemen has turned into the world's largest humanitarian crisis, resulting in increased terrorism and insecurity in the Middle East region. What is the Swedish government’s response to the crisis, and what is being done in the UN to give Yemen the attention it deserves?

The war in Yemen has turned into the world's largest humanitarian crisis, resulting in increased terrorism and insecurity in the Middle East region. The international community must act rapidly to alleviate the immediate humanitarian crisis. At the same time, more efforts are needed to reach a political solution to the conflict and make way for long-term development aid, rebuilding and support for continued political process. What are the consequences if the international community fail Yemen? What is the Swedish government’s response to the crisis, and what is being done in the UN to give Yemen the attention it deserves?
