How do we shift from reactive care to proactive health?
Sweden’s vision for e-health is to be the best in the world at using the opportunities made available by digitization. Does this vision really address the challenges the health care sector is facing? How can technology support the needed change in how we provide healthcare to citizens and patients?
Utökad information om evenemangetSweden’s vision for e-health is to be the best in the world at utilizing the opportunities made available by digitization by 2025. Does this vision really address the challenges the health care sector is facing? In the autumn of 2017, SKL presented a worrying financial report on health care costs. The report showed that just over half of the total cost of 274 billion was spent on somatic specialist care. If this continues we will not have a sustainable health care system. Should we devote more resources to preventing disease, instead of waiting for patients to get sick and in need of treatment? We will discuss how we can support citizens to stay healthy and shift from reactive care to proactive health. Welcome to stay after the seminar to discuss further.
