The economy of the Nordic and Baltic states – how to be competitive in the next 100 years?

Digitalisation and automation are megatrends that challenges our economies. How can the Nordic and the Balitc societies and workforces grab these opportunities to a success? How can we build competitive and sustainable industries for the next 100 years to come?

The Nordic and Baltic start-up scenes are thriving, however, few start-ups grow to become companies that significantly contributes to the national economy. Those who do are called scale-ups, and in this panel-debate we seek to find solutions to how our regions can produce more scale-ups in the years to come. What policies, regulations and know-how are needed for the Nordic and Baltic countries to facilitate this development? What are our challenges? Do we have any advantages? The event is a part of the celebration of the Balitcs 100 years of independence.
